Israeli President Isaac Herzog has arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit, highlighting efforts to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, Herzog said: “The long-standing partnership between Israel and Kazakhstan is of great importance to both countries,” adding that the relationship continues to contribute to “the prosperity of both peoples.”
He also pointed to Kazakhstan’s decision to join the Abraham Accords last year, calling it a step that reflects “the spirit of cooperation between Muslims, Christians, and Jews.”
During the visit, Herzog is expected to hold talks with President Tokayev and senior officials, as well as meet representatives of Kazakhstan’s Jewish community. Discussions are set to focus on expanding cooperation in trade, science and technology.
Relations between Isaac Herzog and Kazakhstan have steadily developed in recent years, with both sides seeking to broaden economic and diplomatic engagement.
The visit comes as Kazakhstan, a key Central Asian economy, continues to position itself as a regional hub for international partnerships.
