Japanese envoy commends ties with Azerbaijan
Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada has said that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan has been established at such a high level within a short period of time that this cannot but cause surprise.
The ambassador made the remarks at the event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Japan, APA reports.
The diplomat expressed gratification that relations between the two countries are developing at the same pace in various fields.
“The foundation of diplomatic relations between Japan and Azerbaijan was laid 30 years ago, on September 7, 1992. While assessing the work conducted over these 30 years, we see that relations between the two countries are developing at a high level in various spheres. This is the result of efforts made by both countries. This is a pleasant moment,” the diplomat told reporters.
