Among his proposals was the creation of information and logistics centres integrated with all modes of transport, as well as the organisation of a CIS conference in Uzbekistan focused on advancing cooperation in the transport sector.
Mirziyoyev also suggested preparing a roadmap to support and develop special economic zones, alongside the establishment of a CIS venture platform to promote startups and innovative projects. He proposed hosting a CIS Industrial Innovation Forum in Tashkent within the framework of the INNOPROM exhibition.
In the field of energy, Mirziyoyev called for the development of a Program for the Innovative Development of the CIS energy sector, emphasising the importance of joint projects in both traditional and “green” energy. He also urged the preparation of a multilateral plan of practical actions to advance these initiatives.
The Uzbek leader further highlighted the need to expand educational cooperation, proposing a new interstate agreement on mutual recognition of diplomas, as well as the organisation of a CIS Youth Forum in Khiva and the creation of a Youth Innovation Laboratory to foster scientific exchange and creative development.
