Official: Cyber threats to Azerbaijan on rise

Azerbaijan is facing an increase in cyber threats.

The head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security, Ilgar Musayev, made the remarks at the Baku-hosted summit "Global Hybrid Warfare and Cybersecurity" on October 3, Reports informs.

"The events of the Patriotic War [2020] and September [deadly Azerbaijan-Armenia border escalation on September12-14, 2022] show that cyber threats against Azerbaijan are increasing," he said.

He explained the case with the strengthening of Azerbaijan.

"Therefore, we must work together in this area, as a result of which we must stop cyber threats," he added.
