Official: Russia makes no problems for Ukraine to export grain to Poland

Press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, has said that the source of the threat of world hunger is the sanctions imposed against Russia, rather than Russia itself.

“The Russian Federation does not prevent the export of grain from Ukraine by railway to Poland,” Interfax quotes Peskov as saying on May 23.

“Trains with weapons are coming from there. Nobody prevents Ukraine from supplying grain back via the same trains,” press-secretary told reporters.

“As for the sea transportation, we can say that the source of the threat of world hunger is the sanctions imposed against Russia. As for alternative routes from our side, Russia does not make any problems,” Peskov added.
