OSCE PA Silk Road Support Group holds 15th meeting in Vienna
The 15th meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) Silk Road Support Group was held in Vienna, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss dialogue and cooperation among the 27 member countries.
The group serves as a vital platform for fostering collaboration in trade, economy, coordination, and cultural exchange, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Azay Guliyev, Chairman of the Silk Road Support Group, addressed the meeting, emphasizing the group's ongoing success in promoting these goals. "The Silk Road Support Group continues its activities as an essential platform for dialogue and cooperation," he stated.
Pia Kauma, the OSCE PA President, and Secretary General Roberto Montella commended the Silk Road Support Group for its unique role in parliamentary diplomacy and international cooperation.
A significant announcement during the meeting was the official confirmation that the Parliament of Montenegro will host the Group's International Parliamentary Conference on May 5-7.
An invitation from Andrija Mandić, President of the Parliament of Montenegro, was formally read out during the meeting, while Jelena Nedovic, head of the Montenegrin delegation, delivered a comprehensive presentation detailing the concept, program, and organizational preparations for the upcoming conference.
The conference in Budva will focus on the theme “Connecting continents: Building a sustainable future for sustainable tourism, clean energy and ecological balance,” offering a platform for discussions on key global challenges.
