Pakistani expert slams Armenia for breaching int'l commitments
Khalid Taimur Akram, executive director of the Pakistan Research Centre for a Community with Shared Future, has said that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed views on his policy, the recent development in Karabakh, as well as in the country during a meeting with international experts.
“The president noted the initiatives concerning regional relations and stated that Azerbaijan is ready for all peace negotiations with Armenia,” Akram told Azertag.
The Pakistani expert said that the situation on the Armenian side changes every few months. Armenia does not comply with international treaties and peace agreements that it has signed.
“President Aliyev also spoke about ties with Pakistan, Türkiye and the Central Asian countries. The president said that it is very important for Azerbaijan to establish good relations with the regional countries. President Aliyev also spoke about Azerbaijan's relations with the European Union and the recently signed memorandum between Azerbaijan and the European Union in the field of energy,” he said.
“I think that the conference passed very well. President Aliyev focused on Azerbaijan’s development. We wish President Aliyev all the best for the future,” the expert added.
