Parliamentarian hails Azerbaijani president's strategic triumph For restoring control over four villages
Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties, MP from Gazakh District, Samad Seyidov, lauded President Ilham Aliyev's latest gift to the nation: the return of four villages in Gazakh District.
Under President Aliyev's leadership, Azerbaijan has ascended to great authority both regionally and globally, Seyidov emphasized, citing the President's unwavering commitment to realizing the nation's goals, Report says.
"As great leader Heydar Aliyev once said, 'Azerbaijan will rise over the world like the sun'. We are living witnesses of our country's growing influence and power in the world," Seyidov remarked.
Highlighting the historic victory in the Patriotic War and the subsequent restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty, Seyidov credited President Aliyev's effective policies, including the early withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from liberated territories.
He expressed optimism about the ongoing delimitation process and anticipated the return of more villages to Azerbaijan, facilitating the repatriation of displaced populations.
The eighth meeting of the State Commission on State Border Delimitation between Azerbaijan and Armenia culminated in an agreement on the return of four villages of Gazakh District to Azerbaijan, further underscoring President Aliyev's dedication to securing Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and advancing its national interests.
