"Path to Peace" panel at XII Global Baku Forum features leading international figures

The XII Global Baku Forum is hosting a captivating panel discussion on the pivotal theme of "Path to Peace."

This engaging exchange features a distinguished lineup of global leaders and experts, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The impressive list includes former Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic (2015–2020), former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert (2006–2009), Ismail Serageldin, Co-Chair of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC) and former Vice President of the World Bank (1992–2000), Tzipi Livni, former Israeli Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs (2006–2009), and Minister of Justice (2013–2014), former First Lady of Ukraine Kateryna Yushchenko (2005–2010), former President of Montenegro Milo Dukanovic (1998–2002, 2018–2023), former Turkish Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Bülent Arınc (2002–2007) and ex-Spokesperson of the Turkish government (2009–2015), Miroslav Lajcak, former President of the UN General Assembly (72nd session), and Philip Lader, former US Ambassador to the UK and former Chairman of WPP.

This highly anticipated event, which takes place from March 13 to 15 under the banner “Rethinking the World Order: Transforming Challenges into Opportunities,” is hosted by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center.

The Forum promises to tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues, including shifting geopolitics, multilateralism, the global health crisis, regional stability, COP29, and the need for reconstruction in a rapidly evolving world.

More than 300 leaders from over 60 countries converge in Baku for this landmark occasion. Among them are over 25 former presidents, more than 15 former prime ministers, nearly 10 heads of UN and international agencies, as well as over 25 former ministers and deputy ministers, all gathered to shape the future of global cooperation and diplomacy.
