People pray in support of Palestine in Russia’s Chechnya
Russian State Duma member Adam Delimkhanov has written that people prayed in support of Palestine in Chechen mosques on October 17 evening.
The believers asked for blessings for the people of Palestine, TASS reports, citing Delimkhanov’s message on Telegram.
“Today, the entire Muslim Ummah is praying for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, asking God to protect them from injustice and grant them the best possible outcome. I express my sincere gratitude to Chechen head Ramzan Kadyrov for this initiative, thanks to which thousands of believers turned to God with prayer in the mosques tonight,” the State Duma member wrote.
He also wrote that those who gathered for the night prayer prayed for the military personnel “who today are opposing Satanism and Nazism in Donbas and Ukraine”.
Last week Kadyrov reproached the West for “double standards” in relation to the Arab-Israeli conflict. The situation in the Middle East would have turned out differently if the presidents of other countries, like Russian President Vladimir Putin, had respected religion and protected it from attacks, the conflict would have been avoided.
