PM: Georgia appreciates brotherhood, friendship with Azerbaijan

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has said that Azerbaijan not only is a neighbour of Georgia but also a fraternal nation and a friendly country.

“Georgia highly appreciates the existing brotherhood and friendship with Azerbaijan,” Garibashvili made the remarks at a meeting with Chairman of the Caucasus Muslim Office Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, Report informs.

He noted that he was glad to see the chairman of the Caucasus Muslim Office in Georgia.

“We have very good relations, your visit testifies to this brotherhood and love. I am pleased that you have friendly relations with Patriarch Ilia II, and I also know about your special respect for him,” the Georgian prime minister said.
