Polish FM slams Hungary’s energy policy, calls for solidarity with Ukraine
In response to recent impassioned remarks by Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski asserted that Hungary has viable options to procure oil from non-Russian suppliers.
Sikorski’s statement, conveyed via the social media platform X, comes amid ongoing debates within the European Union regarding energy dependence on Russia and the associated geopolitical tensions, Caliber.Az reports.
Sikorski emphasized that despite Hungary’s current energy ties with Russia, alternative sources for oil are available, challenging the narrative presented by Hungarian officials.
Peter, as the European Commission has repeatedly told you, Hungary can get its oil from non-Russian sources without financing Putin's war machine.

Please show solidarity with Ukraine's struggle for independence.
The heroes of 1956 are looking on.
