Putin sends birthday greetings to Erdogan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who turned 69 on February 26, according to a statement released on the Kremlin's website.

Putin wished happy birthday to Erdogan, noting his enormous contribution to the development of the Russian-Turkish relations. "Some relevant issues on the bilateral agenda were mentioned," TASS reports, citing the Kremlin.
