Qatari ports introduce fee relief to back logistics sector Amid Middle East war

Qatar’s maritime ports have implemented a package of incentives on port fees to support the logistics sector and ease operational challenges in the country, as per the local news agency QNA.

In a statement, the Qatar Ports Authority said the measures were introduced in response to current exceptional circumstances that have disrupted supply chains and caused logistical difficulties.

The fee adjustments aim to reduce financial pressure on clients, provide flexible storage options for various industries, ensure continuity of import and export operations, and strengthen supply chains during this critical period.

The incentives will remain in effect until the exceptional measures are lifted, with further announcements to follow.
