Road convoy with food cargo is still on Aghdam-Askaran-Khankendi road

A convoy of food trucks sent by the Azerbaijani Red Crescent Society (ARCS) from Baku to meet the needs of Armenians living in Garabagh has been on the Aghdam-Askaran-Khankendi road for the 5th day.

APA reports that trucks with 40 tonnes of flour have been waiting since August 29 in front of the Russian peacekeepers' post on the Aghdam-Askaran-Khankendi road.

ARCS staff and volunteers are spending the night in tents set up in the area. They stated that they would stay here until food supplies were delivered to the residents of Khankendi of Armenian origin.

It should be noted that negotiations are currently ongoing to deliver food supplies to people of Armenian origin in the Garabagh region.
