Russia to send another fertiliser batch to Armenia via Azerbaijan route
Ten railway wagons carrying fertilisers from Russia will be dispatched to Armenia on May 4 via transit through Azerbaijan, according to Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY).
The shipment is scheduled to depart from the Bilajari Railway Station at 15:00, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The day before, eight wagons containing fertilisers with a total weight of 536 tonnes were sent from the same Bilajari station towards Boyuk Kasik, also transiting through Azerbaijan en route from Russia.
More than 25,000 tonnes of grain, over 1,600 tonnes of fertilisers, and 68 tonnes of buckwheat have so far been delivered from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan.
In addition, exports of petroleum products from Azerbaijan to Armenia are continuing. To date, Armenia has received more than 8,500 tonnes of diesel fuel, 979 tonnes of AI-92 petrol, and 2,955 tonnes of AI-95 petrol.
