Russian MMA fighter found strangled on train
Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Georgy Gagloev was found strangled on a Moscow-Vladikavkaz train.
As the Telegram channel Baza reported, his body of the athlete was found during a train stop in the south-Russian city of Rostov-on-Don.
According to the channel, the fighter's death may be connected with his active search for his aunt, Rimma Gagloeva, a well-known fortune teller in the North Caucasus who disappeared a year ago in Chechnya.
Gagloeva's family believes the woman was murdered as her death was suspicious: she flew from the UAE to Chechnya on February 6, 2022, and was on her way to North Ossetia. She was chased by a car with local number plates, with her car subsequently found at a petrol station in Ingushetia, and valuables, money and bank cards were found inside it.
Gagloev has had three fights in pop-MMA, in which he was defeated. He has also competed in tournaments for the Nashe Delo, Hype Fighting and ARENA promotions.
