Russian president, Armenian PM to discuss CIS cooperation in Moscow
Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to hold a bilateral meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
According to Yuri Ushakov, an aide to Russia's president, the talks will take place prior to the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on October 8, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
During the CIS summit, the leaders will exchange views on cooperation within the framework of the CIS and will make decisions regarding the presidency of the Commonwealth in 2025.
Additionally, the agenda includes discussing and adopting an appeal to the peoples of CIS member states and the global community in connection with the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945. The leaders will also review the activities of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of CIS member states aimed at strengthening integration cooperation, among other issues.
