Senator says US borders more important than allies abroad
South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said no US ally will receive aid until a border security plan is presented and approved.
“The threats to our country have never been higher.
From conflicts abroad and a southern border wide open, we truly are at a breaking point.
That's why I'm fighting back to put America first!” he made a post on his X account, Gazeta.ru reports.
“I will continue to insist that no foreign allies will receive aid until we have a plan to defend our country against the impending 9/11,” Graham notes.
The senator argues that uncontrolled illegal immigration into the United States would again allow something like the large-scale terrorist attack in New York in 2001. Graham also said he understood that without US support Ukraine would likely face defeat, but the threat of internal trouble was much higher, according to the senator.
