SOCAR, Eswatini hold talks on energy cooperation, investment opportunities PHOTO

The President of SOCAR, Rovshan Najaf, has held talks with His Majesty King Mswati III of Eswatini during the monarch’s visit to Azerbaijan, with both sides highlighting prospects for cooperation in the energy sector.

During the meeting on May 19, 2026, the importance of strengthening dialogue between Azerbaijan and Eswatini was underlined as a basis for expanding future collaboration in energy and related industries, Caliber.Az reports per SOCAR.

Najaf provided the visiting monarch with an overview of SOCAR’s diversified operations, including oil and gas production, refining and processing, transportation, gas supply, and broader downstream activities. He also outlined ongoing initiatives in human capital development as part of the company’s international engagement.

The discussions further touched upon SOCAR’s global expansion strategy, with both sides exchanging views on potential areas of cooperation across various segments of the energy sector, alongside other issues of mutual interest.
