"Spain is focused on further expanding its institutional presence in Baku," she said, highlighting the commitment of both nations to creating conditions that would deepen mutual collaboration, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
She underlined the economic potential of bilateral relations, noting recent progress in trade and investment.
"Bilateral relations undoubtedly have significant economic and trade potential, which has recently received an additional boost thanks to the launch of a strategic economic dialogue between our countries," Armengol Socias added.
On the regional front, Spain expressed support for the ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"Spain hopes that the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan will conclude with the signing of a peace agreement," she said.
