Tajik defence delegation explores Azerbaijan's military education advancements PHOTO / VIDEO
A delegation from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan, headed by Major General Hafiz Jabor Azizzoda, the Director of the Department of Personnel and Military Education, is visiting Azerbaijan.
During their visit, the delegation toured the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute, where they were briefed on the institution's history and its operational focus, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.
The meeting included the participation of Ilhom Abdurahmon, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan, who contributed to a thorough exchange of views regarding the future development of the military education system.
The Tajik guests also interacted with Tajik cadets currently studying at the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute, inquiring about their educational experiences and academic environment. They explored a photo exhibition displayed in the museum located within the institute and inspected the various educational facilities, including training buildings and the material-technical base, to understand the cadets' education process more comprehensively.
Furthermore, the delegation visited the Park of Military Trophies, where they examined an array of military equipment, including firearms, armoured vehicles, artillery installations, missile systems, and other military hardware captured during the Patriotic War.
