Third National Yaylag Festival kicks off in Azerbaijan’s Goygol district PHOTO

The Third National Yaylag Festival has officially commenced in the picturesque Goygol district of Azerbaijan.

This vibrant cultural celebration, dedicated to the promotion of Azerbaijan's national heritage and highland traditions, offers a rich array of activities and attractions for both local and international visitors, Caliber.Az reports via AZERTAC.

The National Yaylag Festival aims to preserve and showcase the unique traditions of highland life and nomadism, while also promoting these cultural practices on a global stage. This year's festival features an array of thematic corners and cultural exhibits set up in the ethno-settlement of Yaylag yurdu on the scenic Khan plateau.

The local and foreign visitors are enjoying the performances of national and foreign ensembles.

The third National Yaylag Festival is organized by the Foundation for History and Culture "Javad Khan” and “Kap.az” tourism LLC, with the support of Azerbaijan’s Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Azerbaijan’s State Tourism Agency, Ganja City Executive Authority, Goygol District Executive Authority, State Employment Agency and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
