The drone, equipped with the indigenous TEI-PD170 engine, demonstrated its capabilities by surpassing previous altitude benchmarks.
"The sky banner Aksungur greets us from an altitude of 40,000 feet!" the message said.
The company also added that "thanks to this flight, our national TEI-PD170 engine reached its highest altitude."
"It was also the highest altitude at which our national AF500 camera, developed by Aselsan, and the national heater battery, developed by Aspilsan, were tested using Aksungur," the company added.
Equipped with various payloads and new capabilities, Aksungur also accurately hit targets with LGK81 and LGK82 munitions produced by Aselsan last week.
