Turkish deputy defence minister visits Azerbaijan’s Heydar Aliyev Military Institute PHOTO

A delegation led by Turkish Deputy National Defence Minister Suay Alpay, who is in Azerbaijan on a working visit, has visited the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute under the National Defence University.

The guests were informed about the history and main activity of the institute, the work carried out by Azerbaijan and Türkiye in military education, and long-term plans. The guests also inquired about the progress of the cadets’ educational process, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

The Turkish delegation viewed a photo stand dedicated to the life and political activity of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev in the museum operating on the territory of the institute and left an entry in the memorial book.
