Turkish FM, Azerbaijani presidential aide cement diplomatic relations
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has held a meeting with Hikmet Hajiyev, the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, in Ankara to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.
The meeting underscored the ongoing close cooperation between the two nations, reflecting their strategic partnership and shared interests, Caliber.Az reports citing the Turkish Foreign Ministry's X account.
Both sides are expected to have discussed matters of mutual concern, including regional stability, diplomatic relations, and further strengthening bilateral ties.

As part of his visit to Ankara, Hikmet Hajiyev also met with Director of Communications of Turkish Presidency Fahrettin Altun.
In a post he shared on his social media account, Director of Communications Altun stated that they had a fruitful meeting with Hajiyev.
Including photographs of the meeting in his post, Altun noted:
"We place paramount importance on strengthening cooperation between friendly and brotherly Türkiye and Azerbaijan at the regional and global levels, both in the fields of communication, media and public diplomacy, and in combating disinformation. We will enhance our cooperation in the spheres of media and communication and maintain our struggle for the truth as two friendly and brotherly nations on the international stage in the forthcoming period as well."
