Turkish FM meeting Russian counterpart in Antalya PHOTO

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan are holding talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Antalya reports.

Lavrov arrived in Antalya on April 17 as a guest of honour at the forum, which this year is held under the theme: “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties.” 

Discussions at the event are set to focus on unresolved global conflicts, rising geopolitical polarisation and intensifying strategic rivalry.

Türkiye continues to position itself as a mediator in efforts to resolve the Russia–Ukraine conflict. On April 16, Turkish officials proposed reviving negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv in the Istanbul format.
