Türkiye develops armoured vehicle PARS IV 8X8 PHOTO/VIDEO
The Pars-IV 8x8 armoured car developed by the Turkish defence equipment manufacturer FNSS Defense Systems will be presented on July 25 in Istanbul at the international defence exhibition IDEF 2023.
The newest member of the PARS family of vehicles, the new generation PARS IV 8x8 wheeled armoured vehicle has been designed to adapt to the modern conditions of hybrid warfare, when it comes to asymmetric threats, taking into account elements of conventional warfare, according to Caliber.Az, SavunmaSanayiST.com reported on its Twitter page.

Elements that define the operational capabilities of the PARS IV 8x8 (NG-WAV) in the field: protection, firepower, mobility and electronic infrastructure systems have been adapted to current conditions.
Due to its modular structure, the PARS IV 8x8 can be produced in various versions, which can be used as an infantry fighting vehicle, reconnaissance, command and control vehicle, armoured personnel carrier, mobile mortar, the Troops of Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defence (RChBD) vehicle and recovery vehicles.
Thanks to the modular armour system and special hull design, the FNSS PARS IV 8x8 (NG-WAV) armoured vehicle has the highest ballistic, mine and Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) protection in its class.
PARS IV 8×8 (NG-WAV) can operate day and night on any terrain and in all weather conditions. The front cockpit can accommodate two crew members, including the driver and commander, as well as ten more people - gunners and nine infantrymen.
The modular design of the PARS IV 8 × 8 armoured vehicle (NG-WAV) supports the installation of external turrets or remotely controlled weapon stations at the request of the customer. The ARS IV 8×8 (NG-WAV) prototype was equipped with a TEBER-30/35 RCT medium calibre unmanned turret armed with a Northrop Grumman Bushmaster III cannon.
The TEBER-30/35 RCT turret is a remote-controlled turret designed for installation on wheeled and tracked armoured vehicles and equipped with a medium-calibre automatic cannon (20 mm/40 mm Mk44 or 35 mm/50 mm Bushmaster III), an advanced target detection system and a system fire control.
As additional weapons, coaxial machine guns 7.62 mm MG or 7.62 mm Bushmaster CG can be installed. A group of four 76-mm grenade launchers is installed on both sides of the tower closer to the nose.
The TEBER-30/35 RCT tower has an advanced fire control system. Automatic target tracking capability, gunner assist systems, automatically calculated elevation and lead angles for stationary and moving targets provide a high first-shot hit probability combined with more efficient use of ammunition.
The fire control system also has a "hunter-killer" function. Thus, the commander captures targets with his independent panoramic sight and automatically sends the received information about the target to the gunner, and while the gunner is firing at the target, the commander continues to search for other targets.
