Türkiye identifies victims of C-130 plane crash in Georgia PHOTO
Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defence has confirmed the deaths of 20 servicemen following the crash of a C-130 transport aircraft in Georgia.
The information was published on the ministry’s official page on social network X, Caliber.Az reports.
The Ministry of National Defence also released photos of the soldiers who died in the crash.

The Turkish C-130 military transport aircraft crashed near the Georgia-Azerbaijan border while flying from Azerbaijan to Türkiye. The crash occurred in the Signagi area, in mountainous terrain in Georgia, near the border with Azerbaijan. All 20 Turkish Armed Forces personnel on board the aircraft died in the crash.
Search and rescue operations were launched, coordinated between Turkish, Georgian, and Azerbaijani authorities. Georgia’s Interior Ministry also opened an investigation into potential violations of aviation safety or operational protocols that may have contributed to the crash.
