Türkiye launches operation Mercek-26 against arms smuggling VIDEO
Türkiye has successfully executed Mercek-26 Operation, targeting arms smuggling and illegal weapon possession across all 81 provinces.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the operation's results on his social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.

During the extensive operation, authorities seized a total of 2,511 firearms and took action against 2,310 individuals suspected of involvement in arms trafficking and the illegal carrying of weapons.
The initiative underscores Türkiye's commitment to combating organized crime and enhancing public safety.
