Türkiye’s Fidan hosts EU’s high rep amid Ukraine peace focus
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held talks in Ankara with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the meeting on its social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.

Fidan has previously stated that Türkiye supports all initiatives aimed at achieving a just and sustainable peace in Ukraine. He reaffirmed Türkiye’s willingness to take on a mediating role, referencing its efforts during the Istanbul negotiations in March 2022.
No further details regarding the discussions between Fidan and Kallas were disclosed.
