UK ambassador congratulates Azerbaijanis on New Year in Azerbaijani VIDEO

British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld has made a video message in Azerbaijani on the occasion of the New Year.

The ambassador emphasized that 2023 is the year of expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UK, and also touched upon Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, Report informs, citing Auld’s post on his X page.

"Dialogues and visits in both directions have contributed to a deeper mutual understanding and laid the foundation for a closer partnership in the coming year. We have much to look forward to in the new year. Thanks to the bold and confident steps taken by Azerbaijan and Armenia, we are very close to establishing peace in the South Caucasus!", he said.
