US delegation led by assistant secretary visits Martyrs’ Alley in Baku
US Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy and Business Affairs Caleb Orr has visited the Alley of Martyrs in Baku, Azerbaijan, the US Embassy has stated.
It said, in a post on X, that the delegation led by Orr paid tribute to martyrs, Caliber.Az reports.

“The U.S. delegation led by Assistant Secretary of State Caleb Orr paid tribute at Martyrs’ Alley, honoring the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence and sovereignty,” the post noted.
Earlier, Orr held talks with Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, during which the two sides discussed potential cooperation in the fields of digital transformation and transport.
They also focused on the expansion of regulatory frameworks related to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, as well as cooperation with US government bodies and companies on the construction of a data centre in Azerbaijan.
The talks also addressed broader regional transport initiatives, including the expansion of the Middle Corridor and the development of the Zangezur Corridor, alongside the potential participation of US companies in these projects.
