US hosts discussion on investing in TRIPP and Trans-Caspian Route

Armenian Foreign Minister and Minister of International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan took part in a US government-hosted event titled “Prosperity Through Peace: Investing in the Trans-Caspian Trade Route and TRIPP.”

Mirzoyan served as a speaker at a panel discussion titled “Prospects for Peace: Implementing TRIPP and the Trans-Caspian Route,” alongside Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brendan Hanrahan.

US Special Envoy for Peace Missions Steve Witkoff also attended the event.

The discussion focused on the peace and regional connectivity agenda, as well as key achievements recorded since August 8, 2025.

During the event, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Bayramov underscored that the TRIPP project would create new opportunities for regional connectivity, economic growth and energy cooperation while strengthening trade and investment ties. 

He also presented Azerbaijan’s vision for enhancing regional connectivity, highlighting the potential of improved transport and logistics links to accelerate economic growth, strengthen supply chain resilience and generate new investment opportunities.
