US journalist: Azerbaijan needs no governance lessons.

 Former UN spokesman, current head of the bureau of the Alquds Alarabi newspaper at the UN, Professor Abdelhamid Siyam has said that Azerbaijan does not need lessons related to governance.

“Azerbaijan needs mutual relations and respect,” Siyam said while commenting on US President Joseph Biden’s letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, according to Report.

The professor noted that Biden's statement that "the US is ready to assist in the intensification of diplomatic contacts between Azerbaijan and Armenia" attracted his attention.

"I think that Azerbaijan wants to further improve relations with the US, and this should be based on mutual respect, as well as the mutual interests of both countries should be strengthened and the inadmissibility of violating Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity should be confirmed," the professor said.
