Western Azerbaijan Community slams Western media for spreading slander against Azerbaijan

The Western Azerbaijan Community has condemned irresponsible and provocative publications by several Western media outlets that Azerbaijan is allegedly planning an attack on Armenia.

"It is contrary to the principles of professionalism and journalistic ethics to disseminate cheap sensations, gossip, slander, under the cover of media freedom and freedom of speech, to fulfil the orders of biased political circles. Such publications serve, first of all, as a pretext for France's arming Armenia and Paris' interference in the South Caucasus region,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the Community’s statement.

“We condemn the brazen statements voiced in Yerevan by Michael Roth, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the German Parliament, who is known for his image as an unserious politician. We urge Roth, who accuses Azerbaijan of aggression and violation of international law, to remember the history of his country.

It seems that after the European Parliament, Luis Ocampo, Yuri Kim, Armenia has found a new refuge in the person of Roth. Such racists, Islamophobes, Azerbaijanophobes like Roth should stay away from the South Caucasus region," the community noted.
