Western organization conducts sociological survey in Karabakh for first time

The US-based Oracle Advisory Group has conducted a sociological survey in Karabakh for the first time.

“We have conducted a survey among the 3,000 voters in Azerbaijan. We, as a Western organization, have conducted a sociological survey in Karabakh for the first time,” representative of Oracle Advisory Group Vlada Galan told a press conference held on February 2 in the city of Shusha, AZERTAC reports.

She said that a total number of 3,000 respondents from various districts of Azerbaijan took part in the survey. “24.1 per cent of total respondents were from Baku, 8.3 per cent from other major cities, 21.3 per cent from small towns and settlements, with the rest 46.3 per cent residing in villages. 49.3 per cent of respondents (1.479) were women, while 50.7 per cent (1.521) were men,” Galan noted.

Noting that the age statistics of the population was also taken into consideration while conducting the survey, Galan underlined: “The 36.2 per cent were people aged between 18 and 34, 39.0 per cent aged between 30 and 54, with the rest 24.8 per cent aged 55 and older.”

The Oracle Advisory Group representative further emphasized that 24.1 per cent of respondents are residing in Baku, 4.8 per cent in Nakhchivan, 6.1 per cent in Absheron-Khizi, 3.4 per cent in Daghlig Shirvan, 6.4 per cent in Ganja-Dashkasan, 6.8 per cent in Karabakh, 7.2 per cent in Gazakh-Tovuz, 5.9 per cent in Guba-Khachmaz, 10.0 per cent in Lankaran-Astara, 7.8 per cent in Central Aran, 6.6 per cent in Shaki-Zagatala, as well as 5.3 per cent in Shirvan-Salyan regions.
