Yemeni military targets Israeli positions with drones, cruise missiles Pledges Continued Operations
The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the successful execution of two major military operations targeting Israeli positions, reinforcing their ongoing support for Palestinian resistance.
In a statement released on January 15, the Armed Forces confirmed that the first operation involved the use of multiple drones to strike Israeli targets in occupied Jaffa, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
The second operation involved a cruise missile attack on a power station in Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat), located in southern occupied Palestine.
"Both operations successfully achieved their objectives, thanks to Allah," the statement read, highlighting the success of the missions.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have expressed their commitment to increasing military actions against Israeli targets, declaring that further operations are forthcoming. "With Allah’s help, we are capable of striking more of the Israeli enemy's military targets in the near future in support of the Palestinian resistance," the statement continued.
Additionally, the Armed Forces reaffirmed their solidarity with Gaza, vowing to persist with their operations until the Israeli aggression ceases and the siege on Gaza is lifted. "We will continue our operations until the siege is broken and the attacks on Gaza come to an end," the statement concluded.
To recall, since the start of Israel's brutal assault on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has been a vocal supporter of Palestinian resistance against Israeli occupation. The ongoing conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 46,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.
In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted vessels linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, in a bid to bring an end to what it describes as Israel’s genocidal campaign against Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have pledged to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
