"Zhokhovurd": Separatists' "minister" profited from Karabakh Armenians, his son battens on Yerevan Armenians
Armen Hakobjanyan, the son of the former "minister" of urban development of the illegal regime in Khankendi, escaped from the zone of temporary responsibility of RPC (Russian Peacekeeping Contingent) in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and bought "Multi Gas" and "Multi Leon" petrol stations from oligarch Gagik Tsarukyan, Yerevan-based Zhokhovurd newspaper writes.
According to Caliber.Az, the newspaper reports that Armen's father - former "minister" of separatists Marat Hakobjanyan, in 1997 founded road construction company "Kapavor", "won" tenders in Armenia and in Karabakh occupied at that time, thanks to which he became the owner of a huge fortune. The Hakobjanyan family has another company founded in 2002, "Serpentin" LLC.
The paper learned from official sources that from January 1, 2022, to July 5, 2023, the "Kapavor" road construction company signed 15 contracts with Armenian state bodies. The value of the signed contracts was about AMD 4 billion 324 million (over $11 million - ed.).
"Zhokhovurd" writes that Armen Hakobjanyan, who escaped from Karabakh, is now changing the design of the petrol stations he bought and is building a mansion for his brother in Yerevan.
