Azerbaijani actor wins "Best Actor" award at Tallinn film festival

Azerbaijani movie actor Gurban Ismayilov has won the "Best Actor" award at the Tallinn's Black Night Film Festival for his role in the "Mərmər soyuğu" movie.

As Oxu.Az reported, the actor who holds the honourary title of People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, has starred in the movie, which translates as "Cold as Marble", that was a joint production between the Azerbaijanfilm film studio, Baku Media Center, Azerbaijan's Public Television and the French studio Arizona Films.

According to Cineuropa, the movie revolves around the story between an unlucky artist and his loved one and his return home after a long prison term, upon which he radically interferes in his son's life with the purpose of helping him.
