Pashinyan: Armenia ready to accomodate 40,000 families from Garabagh

The relocation of Garabagh residents to Armenia may take place if it is impossible for them to live in their homes.

For this purpose, 40 thousand places have been prepared in Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government session, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.

"Our position related to the possible relocation of our compatriots from Garabagh to Armenia is as follows. It will happen in the case when it is recorded that it will be impossible for them to live in their homes. That is if the situation continues. And if the situation does not improve, this problem will be on our agenda. We have done some work, and now 40 thousand places have been prepared in Armenia," Pashinyan said.

"Our Plan A is not to de-Armenianize Garabagh. We must do everything in our actions so that our compatriots have the chance to live in their homes without fear, with dignity," he noted.
