Georgia restricts traffic on road leading to Lars

The Roads Department of the Georgian Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure has said that Georgia has temporarily restricted traffic on the road leading to the Upper Lars checkpoint on the border with Russia.

The restrictions were introduced due to a damaged electrical network on the 132-135 km of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway. Restoration work is currently underway. As a result, traffic in the Devdoraki tunnel will be controlled and coordinated by the patrol police, Caliber.Az reports citing the Georgian media.
