Another Azerbaijani resident injured in landmine blast in Tartar In last two days
On February 5, at approximately 11:00, the prosecutor’s office received information about a mine explosion in the village of Goyarkh, Tartar region.
As a result of the incident, a resident of Tartar City, Azer Ahmed oglu Mamedov (born in 1966), was blown up by a mine while grazing animals, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office.
He suffered an injury to his left leg and was taken to hospital by police.
An investigation has been launched into the case.
To recap, on February 4, another Azerbaijani resident Alizade Hasanali Shahin oglu, born in 2001, a resident of the village of Garadaghli district, was blown up by a mine while grazing animals.
The left foot of a mine victim in Tartar was amputated, according to the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA).
Meanwhile, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said that some 343 people have become victims of Armenian-planted landmines since November 2020.
