Armenia’s economic activity surpasses expectations, PM confirms
Armenia’s economic performance has significantly outpaced official forecasts, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during a government meeting, presenting the latest data on economic activity and growth.
According to Pashinyan, in October 2025, the economic activity index reached 10.1% compared to the same month last year, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Over the first ten months of 2025, overall economic activity was 8.1% higher than in the corresponding period of 2024. Since the beginning of the year, Armenia has already recorded 6% economic growth.
“These are truly very strong indicators, and it should be noted that, for several years now, the growth of our economy has consistently exceeded projections,” Pashinyan emphasized.
The Prime Minister attributed the robust growth not only to infrastructure programs but also to a broader political emphasis on creativity and education. “I believe the reason lies in our policy approach: alongside infrastructure development, we consistently stress the importance of human creative effort and the role of education in enhancing the productivity of that creativity. These principles are clearly being absorbed and reflected in everyday life,” he noted.
