Armenia's former defence officials might end up on defender's court bench The case around the "surrender of Shusha"
Serious developments can be expected in the case against the former Commander of Karabakh’s separatist forces, Mikael Arzumanyan, together with the expansion of the list of "surrenders of Shusha".
Caliber.Az reported on this citing the Armenian "Iravnuk" publication that relied on their internal sources.
"It is possible that former Defence Minister, the Head of the 'Armenia' political party Seyran Ohanyan will also be involved in the case. Arzumanyan decided not to spare any of his old comrades, including the former Chief of the Armenian Armed Forces’ General Staff, Onik Gasparyan", the publication writes.
Caliber.Az recalls that the former commander of the Karabakh separatist forces Arzumanyan was detained by Armenian law enforcers on his way to Yerevan on charges of negligence of his official duties, which caused "the surrender of Shusha".
