Armenia to send business delegation to Kazakhstan, PM Pashinyan says
A delegation of Armenian business entities will soon travel to Kazakhstan, as announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a briefing after the government meeting.
“We have agreed that a delegation of Armenian economic operators will soon visit Kazakhstan to explore possible areas of economic cooperation. Our relations with Kazakhstan have reached the level of a strategic partnership, which has been expressed in very concrete and, in some ways, unexpected ways,” Pashinyan said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
He added that the existence of a railway connection between Armenia and Kazakhstan expands Armenia’s opportunities.
“Our relations are developing dynamically, as Kazakhstan is showing particular interest in the ‘Crossroads of Peace’ project,” the Armenian prime minister noted.
On November 21, talks were held in Astana between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, after which a joint statement was issued. Tokayev stated that relations between Astana and Yerevan had reached the level of a strategic partnership.
