Armenia, Türkiye agree to expand air connectivity, foreign minister says

Armenia and Türkiye have agreed to increase the number of flights between the two countries as part of ongoing efforts to normalise bilateral relations, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced.
Mirzoyan made the statement during the “Orbeli Forum 2025: Building Peace and Multilateral Cooperation” forum in Yerevan, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
The minister said that, in addition to existing flights between Türkiye and Yerevan, new routes will also connect Turkish cities with Armenia’s second-largest city, Gyumri.
