Armenian farmers block road in protest

Dissatisfied farmers in Armenia have blocked the Yerevan-Artashat highway.

"Jrashen and Ditak residents, who are dissatisfied with the price of harvesting apricots, staged a protest. The head of the Artashat community, Karlen Mkrtchyan, is working at the site," Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media which quotes the Ararat region administration press service.

The ministry stated that they cannot provide additional details at this time, but the issue is being addressed by the regional administration and will be discussed with the government.
