Azerbaijan can attract investments into agricultural sector from Saudi Arabia
The issues of attracting investments from Saudi Arabia to the agricultural sphere of Azerbaijan have been discussed.
Agriculture Minister Mejnun Mammadov met today with a delegation led by co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Business Council, director general of Al Rajhi International for Investments Ahmed bin Ali AL Dakheel who is visiting Azerbaijan, Report informs with reference to the Agriculture Ministry.
Evaluating the possibility of Azerbaijan's fruit and vegetable exports to the Saudi Arabian market, participants noted that there is great potential for expanding relations between the two countries in the field of agriculture.
At the meeting, they exchanged views on the prospects of the agricultural sector in Azerbaijan, the priorities of the government in the agricultural sector, as well as innovations. The parties touched upon the issues of increasing the import and export turnover of agricultural products, attracting investments in Azerbaijan's agricultural sector.
