Azerbaijan exports nearly 6 bcm of natural gas in 2022

Azerbaijan supplied 2.6 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas to Europe in the first quarter of 2022.

The country’s Energy Minister said a total of 5.9 bcm of the fossil fuel were transported to three different destinations from January through March this year.

“In the first quarter of the current year, 2.2 billion cubic meters was supplied to Turkiye, 2.6 billion cubic meters to Europe, and 1.1 billion cubic meters to Georgia,” Shahbazov wrote on Twitter, according to Caliber.Az.
